어색한 질문을 하는게 있어서

Rule #1

Never ask Ava a question

If you must, ask a rhetorical question

Ava한테 질문하지 말기

질문을 해야한다면, 수사학적(?)으로 하기

 

질문을 하는것 보단, 인정하는게 좋다

ex) “우리집에 대해 알고 싶다구요? 음 알겠어요” > 올바른 표현

우리집에 대해 알고 싶나요? > 잘못된 표현

 

Rule#2

Do not use difficult words

that you are uncomfortable with.

Use simple words

you are totally confident in using

불편하고 어려운 단어 사용하지 않기

사용하기 편하고 자신감있는 간단한 단어 사용하기

 

house는 apartment하고 구별할 때 쓰는 단어

> 이 의미가 아니면 home으로 쓰길

 

Rule#3

Try not to repeat the same word

in the same sentence

한 문장에서 같은 단어 반복하지 않기

 

simile(직유법)
like(~같은)를 사용하는 표현

 

Rule#4

Don’t use 2 descriptive or feeling words using “and”!

무언가를 묘사하거나 감정 단어 2개를 말할 때, and 사용하지 말기

 

comfortable and cozy

crispy and crunchy

juice and tender

wind down and relax 등등

 

> 스크립트 처럼 들린다.

>쓴다면 2문장을 나눠서 쓴다

ex) My place is comfy and cozy

> My room is just, so you know, comfy. I mean, it’s so cozy.

 

Rule#5

Talk about one thing, and one thing only

한 가지(주제)에 대해서만 말하기

 

That’s all / That’s it / Thank you > 끝맺음 말로 쓰지만 쓰면 자신감이 없어보임

 

익힐 표현들

This place is a very small place

> 나의 공간같지가 않음

> It’s a very small place.

> My place is a very small place

 

> My place is a very small place

> My place is a very small이 더 나음

> 더 높은 레벨에서는 같은 단어를 반복하는 경우가 있지만,
이 단계에서는 그렇게 하지 않기로 하자

 

My room is comfy and cozy

> My room is just so, you know, comfy. I mean, it’s just so cozy.
